OUR HISTORY
The Miromesnil Fine Art gallery was created by Jean AMIOT in 1982 in the 8th arrondissement of Paris.
Art publisher, he has promoted many artists such as Renée Lubarow, Ricardo Benaim, Amand-Durand, and as an art dealer, also presents in his gallery works of modern and contemporary eclectic artists: Marc CHAGALL, Joan MIRO , Eric LIOT, Robert COMBAS, Jacques VILLEGLE, Pablo PICASSO, ARMAN, Robert INDIANA, and many others.
But Jean AMIOT is above all a collector, who for 25 years has acquired nearly a thousand original works of his preferred artist, Salvador DALI. He is recognized worldwide as an expert in Dali’s graphic work with the Chamber of European Experts & the Chambre Syndicale de l’Estampe, Paris.
From 2011 to 2018, Jean AMIOT and his son, found their maternal Burgundy roots and created a museum; the
“Dalineum” in the mansion, from the 18th century, of Count René Boussard La Chapelle, in the historic center of Beaune, Burgundy, France.
This permanent exhibition exhibited more than 200 works by the master of Surrealism with their collection of watercolors, drawings, original prints, gouaches, sculptures, medals, furniture, molten glass and photographs. Including a full table service, a reproduction of the famous Sofa “Boca” in tribute to the actress Mae West.
Since 2019, J.B.F. wishes to reorganize temporary exhibitions around the world to make their varied collection to be known to any insiders or art lovers.
